Kochi: Dr. Rohit P.V. Nair, Senior Consultant in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Aster Medcity, stated that in the future, healthcare treatment methods will be based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. He was speaking at the session “Hridayapoorvam: Heart Health by Aster Medcity” organized as part of the ‘Summit of Future’ at Jain University, Kochi.
He reminded that while the growth of technology may pose challenges to employment sectors, we must be prepared to embrace changes that come with the times.
Dr. R. Sandeep, Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Aster Medcity, Kochi, highlighted the alarming rise in heart attacks among younger generations today. He emphasized that lifestyle changes are severely affecting heart health. Previously, heart attacks were primarily seen in individuals over the age of 50, but now they are increasingly common among those in their 30s and 40s. He further stressed the importance of not waiting for symptoms of a heart attack to manifest.
