Kochi: In the rapidly changing global landscape, academic knowledge alone is no longer sufficient for sustainable growth, and the future can be secured only by giving equal importance to skill development alongside formal education, said Dr. M.C. Sudhakar, Minister for Higher Education, Karnataka . He was addressing the session titled “Future Lessons from Bangalore” at the Summit of Future organized by Jain Deemed-to-be University, Kochi.
Dr. Sudhakar noted that Bengaluru, India’s technology hub, has already demonstrated how technology can be effectively and creatively integrated into the education sector. He added that the technology-driven education ecosystem is the primary reason why both students and parents increasingly choose Bengaluru as a preferred destination for higher education.
He also called upon students to identify their interests and move forward with confidence without being disheartened by failures. “Failure is not the end of the journey. True success is achieved when individuals recognize their strengths and limitations and progress with self-belief,” Dr. M.C. Sudhakar said.
